Join Life is a Social & Environmental Sustainability Project by the Inditex Group to move towards a more sustainable production such as organic, recycled and better cotton and to promote the sustainability of the cotton industry. The Join Life label is used on the garments that are produced using the best processes and more sustainable raw materials. Products manufactured under this standard are made with sustainable raw materials and/or with best technologies in at least one manufacturing process. The Join Life label is used on the garments that are produced using the best processes and more sustainable raw materials, so that our customers can identify them easily. In 2017, Inditex had 73.6 million sustainable garments labelled as Join Life. The Join Life project is the work of making all clothing and other products of the textile company in the Inditex group of companies, (i.e. Zara, PULL&BEAR, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho, Oteraüe) with sustainable raw materials or the best technologies. The raw materials used in Join Life labeled products pass certain standards and tests, and Inditex only works with manufacturers that can pass these tests. Inditex’s goal is to ensure that all its products are sustainable at every stage of their lifecycle. In order to achieve this, it relies on the Right to Wear philosophy applied in all processes developed by the company as a quality guarantee. Garments produced by suppliers must have achieved A or B qualification in the Social Audit to get the Join Life Label. All wet process factories involved in the manufacturing process must pass the Join Life environmental assessments with a A or B Classification to get the Join Life Label. All Wet Factories should also qualify the Environmental Attributes - Care for Fiber, Care for Water and Care for Planet.
